This is an older motel but the owner is making a big effort in renovating it. I have to say there are some things that still need work but the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time! The owner was super nice and I really don't have any complaints. When he gets all the work finished and gets coffee pots in the rooms it will earn a 5-star rating.
ive stayed there a few times the staff our exceptionally friendly and they go out their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay

My family and I have stayed here numerous times over the years and it is a great little motel. The manager is very friendly and has always done all he could to make our stay comfortable...just ask and if he can he will help out. As another reviewer noted the motel is circa 1970s but has always been clean and served us well. If you are looking for an Embassy Suites or something along that line this is not it but if you want a clean, inexpensive little place to stay it fits the bill. My family and I will continue using this place in the future.
Treated rudely on check in. Manager asked if I was from here and I said yes, but have been gone 31 years working in Des Moines. He responded rudely "I didnt ask you that, i just asked if you were from here." Got charged 5 dollars more to use my Mastercard.
